Bayern keen on Rovers forward, as interest mounts in Cresswell

Bayern Munich are among a collection of clubs keeping a close eye on Tranmere starlet Dale Jennings. The 18-year-old forward enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2010/11, notching six goals in 32 appearances. His promise has not gone unnoticed outside of Merseyside, with a number of sides weighing up a summer approach. Rovers boss Les Parry is bracing himself for bids from England and across Europe, with the teenager seemingly set to be hot property this summer. He said: "There has been interest in Dale Jennings from Bayern Munich."

Attention

Parry has also confirmed that 21-year-old defender Aaron Cresswell, who is set to see his contract expire, is another attracting plenty of interest. He added: "It's no secret that there are Championship clubs interested in him. "We can't stand in the way of people who are attracting that sort of attention. But if he goes, he goes with my blessing. "He's done terrifically well for us and he's one of the best full-backs in the division."
