Michael Owen has reiterated his desire to remain at Manchester United amid uncertainty over his future.
The 31-year-old striker has played a bit-part in United's title winning campaign this season, making only 11 Premier League appearances and starting just once.
Owen's contract has expired and so far there has been no announcement on the possibility of an extension.
But the former England international maintains he would love to stay at Old Trafford if the opportunity arises.
He said: "I have loved every minute; we have great players, great staff, great manager and great fans. Hopefully it can continue."
Parade
Former Liverpool and Newcastle striker Owen was present for United's rain-sodden Premier League trophy parade on Monday morning, despite the doubt over his future.
The Red Devils failed to follow up their domestic success with UEFA Champions League glory, missing out on the trophy to Barcelona at Wembley on Saturday night.
But Owen claims that defeat should not be allowed to put a dampener on the season as a whole.
"When you start every season the first objective is to win the league," he added.
"What happened at the weekend should not be allowed to detract from that."
