Wolves winger Stephen Hunt has hit out at the players who withdrew from the Republic of Ireland squad for the recent internationals.
A high number of withdrawals were made from the Republic party for last week's games in the inaugural Carling Nations Cup, which Giovanni Trapattoni's side won on Sunday.
Mystery initially surrounded the failure of James McCarthy, Jon Walters and Marc Wilson to report for duty, prompting coach Trapattoni and captain Robbie Keane to question the commitment of some players.
And 29-year-old Hunt has echoed that doubt, insisting players should be proud to represent their country.
He said in the Daily Star: "If you are going to declare for Ireland make sure you are 100 per cent committed, otherwise players won't have it and neither will the manager.
"Anyone who is 100 per cent Irish, God bless, would like to be here."
