Italy international happy to fight for place in Milan

The agent of AC Milan striker Antonio Cassano has reiterated his client is not heading for the San Siro exit door, despite reports to the contrary. Cassano has been strongly linked with both Fiorentina and Napoli in recent weeks, having fallen down the striking pecking order last season. Champions Milan have a wealth of attacking talent at their disposal and with Cassano keen for regular football ahead of the European Championship in 2012, it was thought a parting of ways was on the cards. However, this has now been refuted by his exasperated agent Beppe Bozzo, who has long-since grown frustrated by the persistent speculation. "This is a broken record that has been going on for a long time," agent Beppe Bozzo told Mediaset Premium Calcio. "There is no reason to change club and Vice-President Adriano Galliani reiterated Cassano is not for sale, as he fits in perfectly with Milan. "Competition with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexandre Pato and Robinho is not a problem so close to the European Championship. I think a coach should look to quality of performance rather than quantity."
