Chesterfield have signed Nathan Smith from Yeovil Town on a two-year deal following his release at Huish Park.
The versatile left-sided player, offered a new contract at Huish Park, becomes the League Two champions' first new recruit this summer. Smith, 24, signed for Yeovil in April 2008 from non-league side Potters Bar and made 41 appearances for the Devon club. He said: "My aim now is to reach the play-offs, or even promotion. Chesterfield are a team on the up and I want to be a part of that."
