West Brom defender Steven Reid believes that the addition of new faces over the summer will help the Baggies establish themselves in the top flight.
The Hawthorns outfit made a flying start to last season before a worrying slump saw manager Roberto Di Matteo replaced by Roy Hodgson in February.
The former Fulham and Liverpool boss steadied the ship and oversaw an impressive end to the campaign which culminated in an 11th place finish.
Now Reid feels that with the right additions during the transfer window the Midlands club can look to the future with more confidence.
He told the club's official website: "We've got good players and hopefully we can strengthen further.
"Hopefully we can be more consistent throughout the season. We'll be looking to be solid all season, rather than start well, tail off badly, and have to finish well.
"The head coach has said that he wants to get rid of the yo-yo tag for the club. It's important we stay in the league next season and establish the club as a solid Premier League outfit.
"I've got full confidence we're going to do that. We'll be aiming to get to the 40-point mark as quickly as possible and then kick on from there."
