Skysports.com understands Leicester defender Jack Hobbs is undergoing a medical at Hull City.
The Tigers are keen to tie up a permanent deal for Hobbs after he impressed on loan at the KC Stadium.
A fee is thought to have been agreed between both clubs and the player has been given permission to undergo a medical and hold talks at Hull.
Leicester are willing to offload former Liverpool youngster Hobbs as he does not figure in Sven Goran Eriksson's long-term plans.
Tigers boss Nigel Pearson is keen to push through a deal as soon as possible to add Hobbs to his ranks this summer.
