Tsepo Masilela will complete his loan move to Leicester City from Maccabi Haifa once he receives clearance for a work permit, according to his agent.
The South African left-back has been lined up as Sven Goran Eriksson's latest signing as Leicester bid for promotion to the Premier League.
The Foxes are set to pay a fee of around £350,000 to secure the 26-year-old's services with an option of a permanent deal for another £1.7 million if he is a success in the Championship.
Masilela's agent Mike Makaab has admitted that the defender is relishing the prospect of moving to England.

"We are busy working on his UK visa to get him across for his medical. As soon as he gets that then we will come over," Makaab told
skysports.com.
"I think this move will propel him to the level he deserves to be at. Tsepo will give it his best because he wants to stay in England long term."
At the start of his career, Masilela played under Eriksson's son Johann for South African lower league side Thanda Royal Zulu.
Birmingham City were among the clubs to have been monitoring his return from a knee injury but Makaab believes Leicester is the best place for him to develop his career.
He added: "Sven knows Tsepo well but there have been a lot of eyes on him across Europe.
"He has been quite unlucky to get injured when he did because there was a lot of interest in him from Birmingham City and FC Twente in Holland.
"I think that Leicester want to make a real bid for the Premier League and that is where Tsepo wants to play eventually."
