Skysports.com understands a number of clubs are chasing Rotherham defender Luke Ashworth.
Ashworth is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Rotherham.
The news has alerted a number of clubs to the availability of the former Wigan youngster.
Ashworth's agent, Clive Hart, has confirmed the central defender is open to offers as he weighs up his future.
"Luke is available on a free transfer after leaving Rotherham," Hart told skysports.com
"I am speaking to a number of clubs about Luke and we will assess what offers come our way before deciding where to go."
