Aberdeen have completed the signing of Isaac Osbourne on a free transfer following his departure from Coventry City.
Osbourne was released at the end of his contract by the Sky Blues after injury problems prevented the player from making a first-team appearance since November 2009.
He trained with Aberdeen towards the end of the last campaign and Pittodrie boss Craig Brown is happy to have added the 25-year-old to his squad.
"Isaac is a big, powerful player whose style will be well suited to the game in Scotland," Brown told the club's official website.
"Although he missed most of last season through injury, he has come through Archie's rigorous pre-season without any problems whatsoever and he'll be a valuable member of the squad in the forthcoming campaign."
Osbourne becomes Aberdeen's fourth signing of the summer following the captures of goalkeeper David Gonzalez, defender Youl Mawene and midfielder Chris Clark.
