Blues winger plays down transfer talk

Gael Kakuta claims to be unaware of reports suggesting he could be the next Chelsea player to join Hamburg. The Blues have already seen three promising youngsters lured to Germany by ex-sporting director Frank Arnesen. Since swapping life at Stamford Bridge for that in the Bundesliga, Arnesen has wasted no time in raiding his former employers for players of potential. Michael Mancienne and Jacopo Sala have moved to Germany on permanent deals, while Jeffrey Bruma has joined on a season-long loan. French winger Kakuta is said to be next on Arnesen's wish list, with the 19-year-old yet to hold down a regular role at Chelsea.

Contract

He took in a spell at Fulham last season and is aware that first-team opportunities may be limited again in 2011/12. Kakuta is, however, tied to a long-term contract with the Blues and insists he has no immediate plans to make another move. "I have a contract with Chelsea until 2015," he said. "I know Frank Arnesen well and he has been good to me. "I am not aware that he wants me in Germany."
