Skysports.com understands Charlton striker Paul Benson's transfer to Notts County has fallen through.
The 31-year-old was happy with the move and it was revealed earlier in the week that a fee had been set.
But personal terms could not be agreed, despite Benson taking a place in County's directors box for Saturday's friendly with Wolves before talks.
The forward scored 10 goals in 43 appearances last season, as Charlton finished 13th in League One.
Benson began his career at Dagenham & Redbridge before moving to The Valley last August.
