Brendan Rodgers wants to make further additions to his Swansea squad, despite his activity in the transfer market.
The Swans have signed a trio of players in Danny Graham, Steven Caulker and Jose Moreira this summer in readiness for their maiden Premier League campaign.
But this has been tempered by the sales of Dorus de Vries and Darren Pratley to Wolves and Bolton, respectively.
Rodgers will lead out his team against Manchester City in three weeks' time in what will be the epitome of a David and Goliath clash.
But while Swansea's players enjoy the gentile surroundings of Austria in their pre-season camp, Rodgers is formulating ways to draft in more players.
"I felt from the start we needed five or six signings and we have brought in a few," he told the South Wales Evening Post.
"Hopefully in the next two or three weeks, we will add that bit of depth.
"I wouldn't say I'm disappointed that we haven't got more players in yet.
"I know what my targets are and I hope the club can close deals out.
"I've had another good meeting with the chairman. Of course you want new faces in sooner rather than later, but it will be done."
