Eagles manager still making mind up over defensive duo

Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman will take another look at trialists Andrew Davies and Maxime Brillault before deciding whether to award either of them contracts at Selhurst Park. Both defenders impressed during 45-minute run-outs in Tuesday night's 1-0 friendly win over Premier League newcomers Norwich. Davies, 26, is at Stoke while 28-year-old Brillault is contracted to Belgian outfit Charleroi. "I've got these two guys for another game and they'll have another 45 minutes each, which is fair," Freedman told the South London Press. "I'll have a look and see where we're at. But I was really happy defensively."
