United States international focused on getting fit
Bolton midfielder Stuart Holden has given himself the perfect birthday present after returning to training for the first time in five months.
The United States international turned 26 on Monday and has taken the first steps to making a full recovery from a knee injury.
Holden's hugely promising season was cut short in March at Old Trafford when he was stretchered off following a tackle from Manchester United's Jonny Evans.
The injury forced him to miss the Gold Cup in the summer but he is delighted to back at work.
"Best bday present 2 be kicking balls and running outside after 5 months out! Not long now!" he posted on Twitter.
Bolton kick-off their Premier League campaign at QPR on 13th August but that game is likely to come too soon for Holden.
