Manchester United youngster Danny Drinkwater says that he is willing to play on loan in the Championship to continue his development.
The 21-year-old has been with United his entire career but has spent almost all of his professional tenure out on loan, first with Huddersfield Town in 2009/10 and then with Cardiff City and Watford last season.
Drinkwater is currently with United's reserves and played alongside Darren Fletcher and Darron Gibson in the Red Devils' 2-1 defeat to Arsenal on Monday.
The midfielder, though, remains unsure of his future and says that he is ready to play in the second tier of English football should that help him break into the first team at Old Trafford in the future.
"I don't know (about my future)," Drinkwater told United's official website. "I have to speak to the gaffer (Sir Alex Ferguson).
"I'll maybe go back on loan to try and prove myself in the Championship and follow in some of the other lads' footsteps.
"There's a lot of centre-midfield players at the club. They are all quality players so it is difficult to break through."
