Kyle Bartley suffered a groin strain in the 2-0 win at Inverness at the weekend and will also miss out.
On a positive note, Lee McCulloch, who can operate as a makeshift centre-half, did travel and looks set to recover from a knee injury.
Kyle Lafferty, who is recovering from a hernia operation, travelled with the rest of the team but is thought to be unlikely to feature.
