Norwich defender Ritchie de Laet reckons they have nothing to fear when they travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea on Saturday.
The 22-year-old is on loan from Manchester United and has been instrumental for the Canaries as they have garnered draws against Wigan and Stoke.
De Laet scored the opener against Stoke before they were pegged back by a late Kenwyne Jones equaliser having been reduced to 10-men.
Yet the young Belgian insists they have displayed enough skill and commitment in their opening games to show everyone they have a chance of beating the drop.
"I think we can compete, we have shown we can play football and have deserved more from these two games," he said.
"The fans saw how hard we worked, even when we went down to 10 men they still get behind us and kept believing in us.
"We can get a lot of points here. It is far away from a lot of teams, nobody likes to come here and with the crowd, it is hostile.
"If we can be strong like we were against Stoke and with the football we play, then you have to show character to come back from that."
