Northern Ireland will be without Derby forward Jamie Ward due to a hamstring injury when they take on Serbia and Estonia in their Euro 2012 qualifiers.
The 25-year-old made his international debut when he came off the bench towards the end of the 4-0 home victory over the Faroe Islands in Belfast earlier in August.
Nigel Worthington's side host Serbia at Windsor Park on Friday - a game closed to away fans after the crowd trouble which forced the abandonment of their game against Italy in October - and then travel to Tallinn next Tuesday.
Derby manager Nigel Clough had said earlier in the week he expected Steve Davies and Ward to be fit when the club resume Championship action after the international break.
"Steven should be okay in two weeks' time and we hope two weeks' rest and treatment will see Jamie fit to face Coventry City," said manager Nigel Clough, whose side will resume Championship action at the Ricoh Arena on 10th September.
Davies and Ward have started all five of Derby's league games this season.
Meanwhile, Nathan Tyson could be on the bench at Coventry. The striker, who has yet to feature this campaign after suffering a groin injury during pre-season, is set to return to training next week.
