Birmingham City have bolstered their ranks with the signing of midfielder Wade Elliot from Championship rivals Burnley.
The 32-year-old has switched to St Andrew's on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee from the Clarets.
The transfer ends Elliot's six-year stay at Turf Moor after he joined the club from Bournemouth in June 2005.
He went on to make 283 appearances for the Clarets and memorably scored the only goal to beat Sheffield United in the Championship play-off final in 2009 to fire the club back into the top flight for the first time in 33 years.
Birmingham boss Chris Hughton is delighted to add Elliot's experience to his midfield as he plots a push back to the Premier League.
He told the club's official website: "He can play anywhere across that midfield area, he's got an offensive ability and can score goals.
"He's also a fit lad who knows the Championship very well. If you look at his record of games over the last six or seven years he doesn't miss many games.
"He's a reliable player and with the amount of games we've got this season then you need somebody with that reliability."
