Gunners star in confident mood

Aaron Ramsey is optimistic about the futures of both Wales and his club Arsenal. The Wales captain was named man of the match in the 1-0 defeat to England on Tuesday, as his side should and could have taken something from Wembley. And Ramsey admits he feels their results in the last week, against England and also a win over Montenegro on Friday, stand them in good stead. "Obviously I am happy with my performance and the team performance," he told Sky Sports News. "I thought we played superbly in the second half and created a few chances and could have got something out of the game, I think we can take a lot out of this game and can take something on for the future." Ramsey is just as optimistic on the domestic front, and he praised the arrivals of Mikel Arteta and Yossi Benayoun at Arsenal. "We have brought in some quality players, Arteta and Benayoun, two creative midfielders which are comfortable on the ball so hopefully they will be great additions," he said. "Everything is going to be a fresh start and hopefully we can get three points at the weekend and get ourselves back on track."
