Olympiacos centre-back admits winning in London will be tough

Olympiacos defender Olof Mellberg says his side will be prepared for Arsenal forward Robin van Persie when the two teams clash in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday evening. The Greek giants are in London to take on the Gunners in a Group F fixture at the Emirates Stadium and are looking to bounce back from their 1-0 home defeat to Marseille on Matchday One. And Mellberg, who spent seven seasons at Premier League club Aston Villa and played against Van Persie on many occasions, admits that it is not going to be easy for them to register a victory on English soil. "I have played against him (Van Persie) a few times, but maybe not in that position," he said. "He plays mostly as a striker now from what I have seen. He was more of a wing player when I played Arsenal with Aston Villa. "He is a good player and they have a few more. We will focus on our own game more obviously, but we will look at them and hopefully will be prepared for him and everybody else they have. "I have obviously heard about some problems they have had and they haven't had the best of starts in the league, but it is always a really difficult game, especially here at Emirates Stadium." The other game in Group F on Wednesday evening is between Marseille and Borussia Dortmund in France.
