Uruguay international injured on international duty

Inter Milan coach Claudio Ranieri has been dealt a blow with the news that Diego Forlan will be out for a month with a leg injury. The Uruguay striker picked up the injury while on international duty against Paraguay and the injury is worse than first feared. Forlan underwent scans on his return to Italy and they have revealed a muscle injury that will keep him out for four weeks. It was initially hoped that the injury would keep him out for just a fortnight but Ranieri will now have to find a solution to his absence. Inter have made a slow start to Serie A and are currently 17th in the table, with four points from five games.
