Joe Allen has expressed Swansea's determination to bounce back after throwing away the chance to claim their first away victory against Wolves last weekend.
The Swans led 2-0 at Molineux until two late Wolves goals ensured the Premier League newcomers had to be satisfied with a first point on their travels.
Allen insists the team can take positives from last weekend's disappointment, knowing the repercussions for their season if they continue to dwell on the past.
"We have to make sure that our feeling of dropping two points doesn't cost us in the long term," the midfielder told the South Wales Evening Post.
"We are confident that it won't.
"To come away from home in our debut Premier League season and be disappointed that we haven't picked up three points shows how well we have played and also what we're hoping to achieve this season."
City return to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday as they look to extend their unbeaten home record against fellow strugglers Bolton.
But Allen was quick to dismiss extra pressure on the team to perform, finding reassurances in the form they have maintained at home so far this Premier League season.
"We understand the importance of beating teams around us such as Bolton, but we can't have a must-win attitude," he said.
"We're confident going into the home games in particular that we can make it as difficult as possible for opponents.
"Bolton will know they have been in a tough game."
