Celtic striker Anthony Stokes insists his side can overhaul runaway leaders Rangers at the top of the SPL table.
Reigning champions Rangers are already 10 points clear of their Glasgow rivals following a blistering start to the campaign.
Celtic have a game in hand on both the leaders and second-placed Motherwell, meaning victory against Dunfermline would reduce the deficit to seven points.
And with more Old Firm games on the horizon - starting with Rangers' trip to Parkhead in December - Stokes is adamant the title race is not over.
The Republic of Ireland striker said: "It's going to be tough - no doubt. But I think we are well capable of doing it.
"There is so long left and we have a lot of Old Firm games before the end of the season so we can definitely get the points back.
"In my head I'm looking at it as a seven-point gap.
"But we can't look too far ahead. We have to focus on a good run of form and winning every game because we can't afford to drop too many points."
Celtic are unbeaten in four games and turn their attentions to the 23-year-old's former club Hibernian on Saturday.
Stokes added: "They are coming to our place and we will fancy ourselves."
