Sochaux midfielder Ryad Boudebouz has admitted that he would welcome the opportunity to turn out for Paris St Germain at some point in the future.
The Algeria international has been strongly linked with the capital giants following an impressive start to the 2011/12 campaign.
He has already netted four goals and provided three assists for Sochaux, who are looking to build on last season's surprise fifth place finish in Ligue 1.
Any hopes they have of matching or bettering that achievement will rest on their ability to retain the services of key men, and Boudebouz falls into that category.
He has offered no indication that he will actively look for a move during the January transfer window, but concedes that he would find it difficult to snub a switch to the current leaders of the French top flight.
"PSG? Why not?" said Boudebouz.
"It's a huge club. I'd love to follow in the footsteps of Mustapha Dahleb (a fellow Algerian who turned out for PSG between 1974 and 1984)."
Boudebouz was reported to be a target for Liverpool over the summer, while Lyon are also said to be keen, but the 21-year-old is reluctant to discuss his future while the transfer window remains closed.
"Look, I cannot confirm that Liverpool were interested in me last summer, but now I think that we are still far from the winter transfer window," he said.
"I am at Sochaux where I intend to have a great season. After that, if the president decides to grant me a release, we'll see."
