Norwich midfielder showers praise on compatriot

Norwich City midfielder Andrew Crofts has hailed his team-mate Steve Morison for his impressive performances so far this season. Morison joined the Canaries from Millwall during the summer transfer window and has scored four goals in 11 appearances in the Premier League. The 28-year-old was on target against Arsenal at Carrow Road in the league on Saturday in a match that Paul Lambert's side eventually lost 2-1. Crofts, though, believes that should not undermine the contribution of fellow Wales international Morison to Norwich's campaign thus far. "He's doing really well," the 27-year-old said on Norwich's official website. "The goal (against Arsenal) came about through his hard work and closing people down, and he got his just rewards and long may that continue. "At the moment he's doing really well and it's great to see and hopefully he can keep doing it." Norwich are currently 11th in the league standings with 13 points from 12 matches, four points above the relegation zone.
