Barca ace hoping to feature more regularly

Reported Liverpool target Seydou Keita is happy at Barcelona but wants more playing time at the Catalan club, according to sources close to the player. The Barca midfielder told skysports.com earlier this month that he was flattered by reports linking him with a move to Merseyside but content with life at Camp Nou. Mali international Keita, who is also thought to be wanted by Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala, is out of contract next summer but reportedly has a clause in his deal which could see it extended to 2013 depending on the number of matches he plays. Reports in the Catalan press suggest the midfielder, who has started more than half of Barcelona's Primera Liga games this season, will sit down and discuss his future with the European champions after the African Cup of Nations in March. Sources close to the African said: "The player and his family are happy in Barcelona but also believe he could be given more minutes on the field."
