Darren Fletcher and Phil Jones remain confident that Manchester United will secure their place in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.
United have endured a stuttering group campaign after drawing three, and winning just two, of their five matches to date.
A 2-2 draw with Benfica on Tuesday was the second time last season's runners-up have been held at Old Trafford after Basel secured a memorable 3-3 draw in September.
The stalemate with Benfica means United must now avoid defeat by Basel in Switzerland next month to reach the last 16 and Fletcher does not want his team-mates to dwell on their home slip-ups.
"We'll go to Basel needing a positive result which we probably would have needed to do anyway if we had won here, so it's no different in that respect," said Fletcher.
"But you want to have won the group and you want to have qualified in advance of your last game.
"We have had two draws at home, the Basel game and Benfica, which have cost us.
"But we're in the situation we are in and we've got to deal with that. There's no point us moaning or saying what could have been.
"This is the situation we're in and we've got to respond and we've got to get the right result in Basel.
"In the last few years we've won the group and moved into the next round comfortably. But this is what is lying ahead of us now and we've got to accept the challenge and the situation we are in.
"And we'll do that as a team and I'm confident we'll go to Basel and get the result which will take us into the next round."
Jones, meanwhile, also expects United to make progress from what, on paper, is one of the weakest groups in the first round.
"We are in the Champions League against opponents who deserve to be there, so we know they are no mugs," said the defender, whose own goal gave Benfica an early lead.
"But we have more than enough quality in our side to go to Basel and get all three points. I'm sure if we prepare right we will do that."
