Ian Morris can feel something special brewing as Torquay look to build on a run of five consecutive victories at Port Vale.
The Irish winger, who has recently returned to the Gulls side after a spell on the sidelines following knee surgery, believes the Gulls have turned the corner after a frustrating run of eight games without a win in League Two. The 24-year-old claims no targets have been laid out by manager Martin Ling for the season as yet, but revealed the self-belief is growing at Plainmoor. "We've not been sat down and talked to as a group about what we want or where we want to be by the end of the year, but I can tell you there's quite a bit of confidence growing in Torquay at the moment," he said. "We've started to realise what we can do and now we've won five games in a row. "When we weren't winning games we were still picking up draws and there were only one or two where we felt we deserved to lose and we weren't the better team. Now there's confidence here."
