Alexander Hleb has revealed that he is keen to finish his career in Germany after breaking into the Wolfsburg first-team.
The former Birmingham and Arsenal midfielder is on loan at the Bundesliga outfit and has made three appearances since joining from Barcelona in August.
There are reports that Barcelona are set to cancel Hleb's contract which would enable him to stay in Germany on a permanent basis.
It is also believed that Wolfsburg have to pay a fee to the Spanish giants every time he plays.
The 30-year-old spent the early part of his career at Stuttgart before moving to Arsenal in 2005 and claims he does not want to move again.
He told Kicker: "I'd like to stay on in Germany, even after the end of my career.
"I am loving life in Germany; I have really enjoyed my time here. I am looking forward to settling in this country."
