Robins berth delights Murray

Image: Murray: Loves first-team football

Striker Ronan Murray is delighted to be with Swindon, and he cannot wait to garner further Football League experience.

The Ipswich forward arrived in Wiltshire on loan deadline day last Thursday and made his debut in the 2-0 victory over Aldershot at the County Ground on Saturday. Murray hopes that substitute appearance is the first of several run-outs for the Robins during his temporary stay with the npower League Two side, and he stressed how much different it is playing regular first-team football rather than turning out for the reserves. "I benefit massively from playing first team football," he said. "When you are playing reserve games you do not have the crowd and it is just a different feeling. "Everyone is up for the games, you have to be up for it and no-one gives less than 100%, so it is a great feeling playing senior football, especially when you win."
