Kenwyne Jones revealed he was proud of Stoke as they progressed to the knockout stages of the Europa League after gaining the draw they needed at home to Dynamo Kiev.
The striker's late header secured the point for Tony Pulis' side after the Ukrainians took a shock lead when Oleksandr Aliyev's shot was turned into his own net by Matthew Upson.
But the Potters found the equaliser nine minutes from time when the Trinidadian headed home Jermaine Pennant's pinpoint cross.
"We know it was important for us to get something tonight to make it into the next round so I'm happy we pulled it off in the end," Jones told ITV4.
"Kiev are a very good team and they've been playing in Europe for years and years but we were at home. We went 1-0 down but have a never-say-die attitude and we came out in the second half and got the goal."
And Jones is adamant that Potters can be proud of their performances in Europe this season.
"It's our first time in Europe and we've done well," he said.
"No one expected us to do this well and we've turned a few heads and top the group."
