Arsenal boss says loan deal for Japanese teenager not yet agreed

Arsene Wenger will decide in January whether to send Arsenal teenager Ryo Miyaichi out on loan for the second half of the season. Miyaichi joined the Gunners last term and spent time on loan at Dutch club Feyenoord while he waited to be granted a work permit. The Japanese forward received the necessary paperwork in the summer and he has made two substitute appearances in the Carling Cup this season. Reports have recently suggested that Gunners boss Wenger will let Miyaichi, who turns 19 next week, head out in search of first-team football when the transfer window reopens. However, Wenger says no deal has yet been lined up for the striker and he will not rush into a decision on Miyaichi's immediate future. "No, there is no truth in that at the moment," said Wenger. "I will decide that at the beginning of January."
