Rangers manager Ally McCoist believes that forward Nikica Jelavic will be the subject of several bids during the January transfer window.
Jelavic continued his impressive form this season by scoring both the goals in the Gers' 2-0 victory over Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday.
The 26-year-old was the subject of a failed £6.5million bid from Leicester City in August and was linked with a move to Liverpool this week.
McCoist admits that more clubs will come in for Jelavic when the transfer window reopens next month but is glad that the Croatia international is attracting attention.
Asked if it will be his call if offers come in, McCoist said: "Absolutely - I don't think there is any doubt about that.
"I would imagine we will be having this conversation for the next three or four weeks.
"Jelavic showed today just how important he is to our football club. That's the way it is.
"I would far rather my players were playing really well and attracting attention from other people than not playing well and nobody being interested in them. Put it that way."
McCoist was also quizzed on how much he believes it would cost the Scottish champions to replace someone of Jelavic's talent.
"I really couldn't answer that question," he said. "He's got 14 goals at the moment and that's a fair old tally at this stage of the season.
"I thought Nikica played well for us today in what was a really tough ask against Hibs' best players," added McCoist. "I thought their central defenders defended really well today."
