Gary Hooper insists there's a "real buzz" about Celtic at the moment as he continues to help them put pressure on Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premier League.
The former Scunthorpe striker scooped the SPL player of the month award for November after bagging five goals, including a hat-trick against St Mirren, while the Hoops have now won their last six league games following Saturday's 1-0 victory over Hearts.
Hooper, who netted 20 times in just 26 league games in his first season at Parkhead, has maintained his magic touch this campaign with 13 goals in all competitions so far - but believes his superb run of form is also down to his team-mates.
He told skysports.com: "The team are playing really well at the moment and the award is for them as much as me.
"We've been playing some great football over the last month and we're just taking each game as it comes."
The 23-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence having started his career with Grays Athletic in the English non-leagues before moving on to Southend, Scunthorpe and now Celtic.
Hooper is enjoying the whole experience and having tasted Scottish Cup glory back in May, he's now focused on delivering the SPL title back to the club's passionate supporters for the first time since 2008.
Hooper said: "I'm really enjoying life at Celtic, it's a fantastic club and at the moment a real buzz about the place.
"The fans are the best in the world and it's a special place to play football."
