Reds boss stays quiet on disciplinary hearing

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has once again offered the club's support to Luis Suarez in his ongoing disciplinary hearing into claims he racially abused Manchester United defender Patrice Evra. The Football Association finally started the disciplinary hearing into claims from Evra that he was racially abused by Suarez during United's draw with Liverpool at Anfield in October. The Uruguayan has categorically denied using any racist language towards Evra and Liverpool have backed the player over the incident A two-day hearing began on Wednesday with a decision possibly coming later this week. Both players spoke to FA officials during the investigation and there have been suggestions Suarez was unaware language that is acceptable in Uruguay is viewed as racist in Europe. It has been reported Dalglish will attend the hearing in person to defend Suarez but the Scot would not comment on the issue. "We have said many times before we cannot say anything which will be prejudicial," he said. "We are standing right beside him and helping him as much as we possibly can. "After it's finished there is a chance to have a conversation. "As I said last week the FA should have given you (the media) the information when everything was happening, not us." If Suarez, who has always denied the allegations, is found guilty he could be banned or fined, or both.
