West Bromwich Albion manager Roy Hodgson is hopeful that defender Steven Reid will recover from his injury in time for his side's away clash with Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League on Saturday.
Reid is suffering from a minor knee problem but the Baggies boss retains optimism that the right-back will regain full fitness and face his former club for the first time since leaving Ewood Park permanently in the summer of 2010.
"Steven has had a slight knee problem so we're still waiting before we make a definite decision on him," said Hodgson on West Brom's official website.
Hodgson has no other injury worries ahead of his side's trip to Blackburn and he is understandably relieved by the situation.
He added: "Touch wood, everyone has come through from last week and we have a full complement.
"Albeit our squad is quite small at the moment thanks to the fact we have loaned quite a few players out."
West Brom are currently 15th in the Premier League table with 15 points from 15 matches, just three points above the relegation zone.
