Krysiak slams Noble boo boys

Goalkeeper Artur Krysiak says the Exeter fans who jeered club captain David Noble off the field last weekend were "unacceptable".

Noble's second-half substitution during the 0-0 stalemate with the Iron on Saturday appeared to draw ironic cheers from a small section of the St James' Park crowd. And Krysiak was appalled by what he heard, telling the Express & Echo: "As a player, you want to do your best for the team. You risk your life and risk your career for the team, so when the fans boo you when you come off that's not good. It's unacceptable. "David has been excellent for us in the last few games. One bad game doesn't mean anything. I was a bit surprised (at the crowd's reaction). "When the supporters do it in a proper way that's really good, but as soon as they start criticising it makes a strange situation. "It doesn't help us. But at the same time, we are professionals and we need to continue thinking how we should be playing on the field."
