Borussia Dortmund are determined not to sell Mario Gotze amid ongoing reports linking the 19-year-old with a move to some of Europe's biggest clubs.
The playmaker has been compared to Lionel Messi and speculation suggests he is wanted by the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Gotze was injured going into the Bundesliga's winter break, but the Germany international could still be a target in the January transfer window.
Some reports have gone as far as to say Dortmund would demand at least £50million for their star asset and the club's general manager, Michael Zorc, is indeed in no mood to sell.
He told Bild: "We have agreed with Mario that he will be playing for Borussia Dortmund during the new season.
"He is under contract with our club until June 2014. He has no reason to move on. We have no need to sell him."
Zorc has also ruled out the sale of Paraguay international Lucas Barrios despite an injury sustained in the Copa America costing the forward his first-team place at Dortmund.
"We are to talk to Lucas Barrios in the next few days. We have not received any enquiries for him," said Zorc.
"He is also under contract with our club beyond the end of the season. We did not want to sell him."
