Tigers could raid Red Devils for another youngster

Hull City's caretaker manager Nick Barmby has confirmed an interest in signing Manchester United youngster Joshua King on loan for the rest of the season. Barmby extended the loan deal of King's team-mate Robbie Brady on Thursday and there are several former Reds Devils youngsters already on the books at the KC Stadium. Versatile forward King has returned to Old Trafford after an injury-hit loan at Borussia Monchengladbach after spending time at Preston North End last season. The Norwegian is likely to be allowed out on loan again and Barmby is waiting to see if a deal can be agreed to add King to the Tigers' squad.

Exciting

"We have got a chance and if we can do it, then great," said Barmby in the Hull Daily Mail. "We've got a chance for other players as well so have cover, but I've seen Josh King play quite a few times. "I really like him. He's a very good player who's quick, got a good stature and can play in a number of positions. "He's an exciting player but we'll have to wait and see if we can get something done."
