Southend's assists king Ryan Hall has played down talk of a transfer this month, and insists he wants to supply the goals to get the club promoted.
Hall is attracting interest from Crystal Palace, Millwall, Nottingham Forest and Ipswich, who have all been drawn to his sensational form in the first half of the term.
He has 14 assists, which is the highest total in the country, but he is determined to keep the Shrimpers' supply line flowing, rather than leave Roots Hall.
"I like being at Southend and I want to stay here," he told The Echo.
"I want to help the club get promotion this season and want to keep on creating chances for the team because that's my main job as a winger."
Hall admits his statistics are eye-catching but he is humble enough to concede his team-mates' ability to finish his chances has helped his reputation to flower.
He added: "It's nice to hear that I've made the most goals but it's also down to the fact we have the players who can attack the ball in the box.
"Mark Phillips has done that a few times this season, so has Bilel Mohsni and Liam Dickinson, so with people like that in the penalty area I know I have to keep on getting crosses in and they will score."
