Scotland international Kris Boyd is in talks about a move to Major League Soccer, Sky Sports understands.
The 28-year-old is a free agent after cancelling his contract with Turkish club Eskisehirspor, who he joined last year from Middlesbrough.
He returned to Britain in December and has been considering his options, and was strongly linked with a move back to Scotland with former club Rangers.
But now it appears he is ready to make the move across the Atlantic and has received a number of offers.
Sky Sports understands Kansas City Wizards, Houston Dynamo and Portland Timbers all want to secure his signature.
