Russia international completes move to Spartak Moscow

Everton have confirmed that Diniyar Bilyaletdinov has completed his move to Spartak Moscow for an undisclosed fee. The Russia international moved to Goodison Park from Lokomotiv Moscow in an £8.9million deal in the summer of 2009 but was unable to make a significant impact on the Premier League. The midfielder made just 33 top-flight starts for the Toffees, with a further 26 outings coming from the bench, as he struggled to adapt to English football. With the two parties having agreed terms earlier this week, Bilyaletdinov travelling to his homeland to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms.

Committed

Speaking earlier this week, Moyes said: "He was a great boy to work with, a really good professional. "When he played he was totally committed and he did everything he could to succeed. We wish him well. It just didn't quite work and obviously we've decided to sell. "You could probably ask every manager in the Premier League about players and I can think of some clubs you could ask about a lot of players but, yes, Bily's been in here and not quite reached what we wanted. It happens. "But I couldn't fault anything that he did - he is a good lad."
