Red Devils defender goes on loan for second time this term

Sky Sports understands Manchester United youngster Scott Wootton has joined Nottingham Forest on loan for the rest of the season. The 20-year-old joined Peterborough alongside fellow United starlet Ryan Tunnicliffe at the start of the campaign on a season-long loan. Wootton and Posh boss Darren Ferguson, however, made the joint decision to cut short the deal. The defender featured 14 times for Posh this term but was frustrated that he was not getting more game time at London Road. Forest, though, have move swiftly to bring in the player to plug the gap in their defence after the sale of Wes Morgan to Leicester. United were keen for the player to go out on loan again to gain more first-team experience.
