Highly-rated Motherwell forward Jamie Murphy has rejected a move to Blackpool.
The SPL outfit confirmed the two clubs agreed a fee on Tuesday but Murphy has now turned down the opportunity to join the Championship club.
The wide player has scored 34 goals in 172 games for the Fir Park outfit, with whom he is under contract until 2013.
It is not the first time Murphy has been subject to transfer speculation, with the 22-year-old reportedly being watched by a string of Premier League clubs last summer.
The likes of Bolton Wanderers, Stoke City and Tottenham Hotspur were rumoured to be among his admirers.
