Shrews boss backs Bradshaw

Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner has backed Tom Bradshaw to return to the first-team and find his form again.

The Welsh under-21 international has featured just once in the new year, but his manager has faith in the young striker. "Tom had a good spell when he played last season and came in with a lot of goals for us," Turner told the Shropshire Star. "He has hit a sticky patch at the moment in terms of his form but he is working with the coaches and he will come back." Bradshaw has been urged to use team-mate Jon Taylor's example, as the midfielder went through a similar period without games. "It sometimes happens (with young players) and there was something similar with Jon Taylor. It was disappointing for Jon for almost half of the season but he has got back into the side now," Turner added.
