Keeper re-sign to provide cover following injury to Veiga
League Two side Macclesfield Town have re-signed goalkeeper Steve Collis on a contract until the end of the season.
Collis recently completed a six-month deal with the Silkmen and was not initially handed an extension by manager Gary Simpson.
However, the 30-year-old has continued to train with the club and has signed a fresh deal after first-choice keeper Jose Veiga picked up a calf injury.
Veiga is struggling to be fit for Saturday's game away to Oxford United, so Collis has been added to Simpson's squad as cover.
He made one appearance during his first spell with Macclesfield this season when starting a Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against former club Crewe Alexandra in October.
