Rotherham manager Andy Scott has heaped the praise on winger Sam Wood, who he has compared to a "pocket battleship".

Wood is currently on loan at Don Valley until the end of the season from Brentford, where Scott used to manage him, and the 25-year-old has recently found his stride. "He likes playing football. You put him on a park on a Sunday and he would be exactly the same," Scott said. "He is one of the fittest lads I have ever seen, he's like a pocket battleship. "The fans want to see that and we can accept not being as good as the Premier League stars but when they give their all for their shirt that's what we want. "His enthusiasm for the game and his desire to do well for himself and for others is infectious."
