Leeds have signed former Portsmouth forward Danny Webber on a short-term deal until the end of the season. Webber has been without a club since leaving Portsmouth last summer following the expiration of his contract. The 30-year-old was thought to be considering a move to China, but Webber has decided to link up with Neil Warnock again at Leeds Warnock already knew Webber from their time together at Sheffield United, and he has made him his first signing since taking charge at Elland Road. Whites boss Warnock believes Webber will prove a valuable addition to his squad following the exit of Andros Townsend last week. "I know the player well and he'll be good to have around the place," Warnock told the club's official website.
